- Served as a Lecturer, Reader, and Professor and Head in Medical College in Kanpur, Agra, Jhansi, Meerut, Allahabad and Gorakhpur. Retired as Professor & Head of Department ENT, BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur
- Established ENT departments in Medical Colleges at Jhansi, Meerut and Gorakhpur.
- Organised UP Chapter ENT Conference in Meerut in 1971.
Dr. Y.C. Yadav is a highly respected name in the field of ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) with an illustrious academic and clinical career spanning several decades. A proud alumnus of King George’s Medical College (KGMC), Lucknow, he completed his MBBS in the 1956 batch, followed by MS and DLO in ENT from the same prestigious institution.
Dr. Yadav has played a pioneering role in establishing ENT departments at various government medical colleges, including those in Gorakhpur, Thansi, and Meerut. Throughout his academic career, he has served in multiple leadership roles and significantly contributed to medical education and clinical advancements in Otorhinolaryngology.
With over 45 research papers published in reputed national and international journals—including the renowned Archives of Otorhinolaryngology, USA—Dr. Yadav has made substantial contributions to the global ENT community.
He retired as Professor and Head of the Department of ENT at BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur in 1996, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, innovation, and mentorship in the medical field.
